Summary

This project was to develop a short branded video sequence that took a comedic or unexpected stance on celebrating a particular event. Taking inspiration from the slapstick humor and animated style of early colorized cartoons, I decided to develop this with a 2D visual effect, applying shades of color to imply depth. I made this using AfterEffects, and storyboarded the project in photoshop. During the development process, I started with simple ideation, created a storyboard, made a first pass, and then refined the project until I had a finished piece.
